Delhi Judicial Service requires not less than 3 years of practice as an Advocate as on the last date prescribed for submission of applications.

Practice Certificate Requirement

To fulfil this requirement, the candidate must produce a certificate:

1Certified by the Principal Judicial Officer of the Court where the candidate is practising; or

2Certified by an advocate of that Court having minimum standing of 10 years and endorsed by the Principal Judicial Officer; or

3For practice before the High Court or Supreme Court, certified by an advocate having minimum standing of 10 years and endorsed by an officer designated by the High Court or Supreme Court.

Experience gained while working as a Law Clerk with any Judge or Judicial Officer in India shall be considered while calculating the total years of practice.
